This pavilion has a mixing style between the Spanish influences and the previous cultures in the country. The architect was Manuel Piqueras Cotoli. He was Spanish. He developed his works in Peru. Another of his designs are the front of Escuela de Bellas Artes in Lima and the Francisco Pizarro mausoleum at the Cathedral in the capital of Peru. Nowadays the building is used as the Peru Consulate and the Science House (CSIC).
