This pavilion was designed by Juan Martinez Gutierrez. This architect wanted to simbolize the calm of the Chilean coast in contrast to the overwhelming inmense of the Andes for wich he used a combination of the white and grey colors and a strong tower. Nowadays it's the (implementation arts) Artes Aplicadas School.
